This presentation was given to the administration and staff at the University of Pittsburgh-Titusville and focused on providing them an overview of social media and developing a social media strategy for the campus, as well as strategy development for each campus office.

This presentation was given to the PRSSA chapter at California University of Pennsylvania and focused examined how social media tools can be used for professional networking.
Cyber-Threatening Behaviors & Social Media Panel Presentation, Slippery Rock University (November 15, 2011)
This presentation discussed topics related to cyber-threatening behaviors, including cyber bullying, and was sponsored by the Office of Student Conflict Resolution Services and the Women’s Center at Slippery Rock University. Representatives from the Office of Student Conflict Resolution Services, Women’s Center, University Police, Criminology Department, and Communication Department discussed and answered questions related to victim resources. Student Code of Conduct, criminal consequences, and issues related to freedom of speech and social media. Dr. Thomas Flynn and myself represented the Communication Department.

This workshop is part of the Senior Seminar presentations, where students are responsible for creating a digital portfolio documenting their work at Slippery Rock University. I was responsible for lecturing on planning, developing and designing a digital portfolio, and was the point person to students having questions about the process.
NHinteractive. Newhouse Interactive is a Web site used by the Newhouse School to display student work and practice online storytelling. I was responsible for building the site and the supporting Content Management System to manage the site. (http://cmr.syr.edu/nhinteractive - inactive)
Cuse Clothes Line. Cuse Clothes Line is a new student-run blog for student’s interested in learning about blogging and blogging about fashion-related topics.
